Research institute visit to -NATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING RESEARCH INSTITUTE NAGPUR

The one day Visit Was  successfully  organized by the department of chemistry on 29/04/2022 with prior permission of CSIR-NEERI NAGPUR. 35 M.sc (chemistry) first year & second year  students & four faculty members- Prof.Tejaswini Ingole, Dr.Gaytri Chopra , Dr. Suraj Deshmukh, Prof. Pallavi Balsaraf  went to visit NEERI to understand how the environmental research is carried out.

All went to NEERI by the bus arranged by the college . the bus left the college campus by 8:30 & reached NEERI BY 10:30 AM

After the security checked the students were taken to Audio-visual hall to introduce them to the work carried out by NEERI. The students got the Information about NAMAMI GANGE ,YAMUNA MISSION & many more such projects in which scientists & students of NEERI are involved. This went up to 11:30am .At 11:30 visit to Harit Sangrahalaya  was organized  which began with the introduction of Prakash Kumbhare, (SR. PRINCIPAL SCIENTIST & HEAD, PRMMG) & PRAKASH KUMBHARE was felicitated on behalf of our college (Indraprastha New ARTS Commerce Science College) Wardha. for the great & the sustainable  work Carried out by NEERI.

At 12:00 noon we all visited Water Technology & Management Division (WTMD), NEERI In which water  purification & soil Testing Projects were shown to the students Along with various Analytical Instruments like Flame Photometer, FTIR, Spectrophotometer, UV Visible Spectrophotometer etc .

At 12:30pm we visited Technology Park were Research work related to Paint , Biofertiliser Synthetic Dyes is carried out. The visit concluded at 1:30 pm.

Students were visited to different laboratories and explore many analytical instruments .they have also met with the senior scientist and their Ph.D. Scholars. overall this visit was fruitful and wonderful experience for the students and faculty members accompanied with them

After that we visit to Raman Science center were we watched 3D movie on Planetary system
